Environmental Protection
Degradation of our environment is one of most critical challenges facing us today. This has resulted in a number of serious problems floods and droughts, pollution, and climate change. We humans are causing excessive damage to the environment, many of which are irreversible. It is the responsibility of the present generation to protect the environment, so that our future generations get a better planet to live on. We are doing our bit in conducting awareness through projects aimed at conservation and betterment of local flora and fauna, revitalization of water resources, and involving the younger generation and citizens in the preservation of natural resources. We also carry out tree plantation drives, sensitisation about waste management such as sorting and recycling and partnering with garbage pickers and volunteers to free the environment from hazardous waste and create a better future for the generations to come.
Water Conservation
Availability of adequate water is already reaching a crisis situation. We have initiated programmes to address water scarcity through projects for rainwater harvesting, thus ensuring availability of drinking water throughout the year. The organization sensitizes citizens, stakeholders and children to make them aware about the problems at hand and their potential solutions too. We motivate communities and promote local skills to develop, install and manage water security plans. We also work to promote use of water security measures, like conservation, rainwater harvesting and water safety in order to improve people’s access to clean water

Culture
As we work at the grassroots, irrespective of caste and creed, we connect with people from diverse customs, religions and beliefs. They are bound by a strong thread of faith and that unifies them. They are part of India’s unique cultural fabric that is characterised by unity in diversity. Hence we have been observing a very healthy tradition of celebrating festivals – be it reflected through the celebration of Holi Baisakhi, Pongal, Christmas, Chhath or Navratri. Dandiya Utsav and Diwali mela and food festival was a big hit. Even the spirit of nationalism has strong outpourings with the joyous celebrations of Republic and Independence Day. The cultural identity that symbolises various regions of India is reflected through various state festivals.
